Summer time is quickly approaching. I believe it officially begins on June 21st. With summer time come vacations, picnics and reunions. It is a special time of the year. We try not to think about hurricanes or inclement weather, but the reality of life is that Florida will entertain a hurricane or two. In the case that it does, our disaster relief teams will be ready to launch into active status. If you are trained, please be ready to respond when called. There still is time to be trained. However, Disaster Relief Training has been moved from First Baptist Church Plant City to First Baptist Church, Dover, Florida located at 3223 Gallagher Road. The training event is on Saturday June 21st and will begin at 8:30 a.m. As always, I pray that we will not be called out, but if we do, then we need to be prepared.
